Unfortunately we only had a few hours a day in Athens. Thanks to hop on hop off we were able to see a lot and at this time of year (Nov) it was not overcrowded. Acropolis fascinating, no problem thanks to Citypass. Great changing of the guard (only Sun) at the parliament, great spectacle. Old Olympic Stadium with exhibition is also a must! Despite the shortage of time, thanks to the Citypass beautiful experiences in Athens with beautiful historical sites.
The City Pass is worthwhile, as you can bypass the queues at the ticket booth, this is useful for most attractions. The option Nahverkehr I have not booked, because more or less everything is within walking distance
A lot of museums and monuments at good price. I saved minimal about 20-30 euro for person. However, We didn´t try bus and ship cruise. A little bit of tourists. I recommend visiting Athens from October. We were there in September.
I had a pleasent experience in Athens with this card. It would be great if more museums could be added to the list. It is definitely worth buying this card. Higly recommended.

Practical pass for the main attractions. Unfortunately, with the Turbopass voucher you have to go to a shop to get tickets for the Acropolis. Also on the Hop on Hop off bus the staff should be recognizably dressed. Unfortunately that was not the case. Then you have to ask yourself. But works too. And everyone is nice and helpful. The bus driver would have driven us to the hotel after the last tour in the evening even. Top!
Turbopass is great to use to skip the long lines at the famous sights. However, in order to get in some places you have to go to a specific office to get another ticket to get in, which is inconvenient. Would be better if the the guides, who are already there, could give you the ticket. Also the Hop in agency they work with in Athens, specifictly the office near Syntagma square are very rude, the other employees we talk to were nice, but most had no idea about the pass and also gave false information about their buses' time schedule. But beside that we had a great trip. We will use Turbopass again.
I recommend it to everyone who wants to see the city comfortably and get to know the most important attractions of ancient Athens.
But the website does not have a detailed office address where you can collect tickets for attractions offered for free as part of the Athens Ciry Pass.

I bought a pass for 2days with my sister. It's our first time in Greece, and the staff who assisted for this pass can speak English and very friendly. The Hop-on Hop-off bus is very convenient to use. You can go around and see sights better here than taking the metro.

Great and affordable ticket to visit all major attractions in Greece, however the bus are not so often.
We were in Athens at the beginning of June and were very happy about the first use of the bus because we already had the tickets. Get in, activate your ticket and drive around the area for 3 days without having to worry about the ticket being valid. ... makes your stay much easier
The Good Stuff:
- I went for the complete pass as it had a lot to offer esp the free transport of the city for 72 hours although with where my hotel was placed (Airotel Parthenon) it wasn't needed as I came for the archaeological sites and we were right in the middle of everything!
- In my opinion, it is great value for money considering everything that is included and what it would all come to separately!
- The instructions on getting to the shop where you collect it wasn't very clear I ended up walking in circles with google maps for ages!
- The tips section in the booklet was very much appreciated and I loved the free map
- Definitely made my trip a lot smoother as I knew everything was pre-booked so all I had to worry about was getting there!
- Definitely takes a lot of stress out of the trip and ensures you see many wonderful sites, and with different options to suit each person,, who can complain?
- The turbopass customer service is excellent, I haven't needed to contact them however the emails I received in preparation for it were very helpful even with a PDF of the guide so I could prepare and the people at the shop in Athens when I collected the pass were very friendly!
Traveller's tips:
- Mind your valuables, there are safes in most hotel rooms - use it or just leave your stuff in the room - keep your wallet in your front pocket and avoid a backpack
- There are wild dogs, cats and even tortoises! Relatively harmless but watch out for the dogs, I got attacked on the way up to the acropolis so if there's young children with you take care
- The roads are very fast! There is a 30 second countdown then a 15 second time to cross over
- Locals are VERY helpful, don't be afraid to ask for help if needed and most people there speak English but if you can greet them with a 'kalimera' or 'yasas' (sp?) they'll be more than happy!
- Lots of people will try and sell you things, don't get coerced
- If vegetarian/vegan don't worry there are plenty of places! Most restaurants do vegan anyway with things like stuffed tomatoes, boiled veg etc but there are also dedicated vegan places like veganbeat, veganaki,peas and avocado all of which I went to and highly recommend
- Most of the souvenir shops are the same, if you've been to one you've been to them all that said there are a lot of handmade products in shops between those which I would definitely look at!
- Don't try to rush things or fit everything into one day, with the turbopass you can do plenty but don't forget to sit back, breathe and enjoy the city
- Set off early, most of the sites will have big queues and if going on the acropolis use the southern slope for extra sites!
- When using the vouchers for museums take the entire voucher with you not just the tear off section, I had a run in with an unpleasant staff member at one museum who got very vocal about refusing me entry for this reason even though I hadn't had that problem anywhere else
- The big sites are nice but the smaller ones are definitely worth a visit in between!
- Take a ride on the hop on-hop off for the entire journey at least once you won't regret it!
- Don't eat an orange off a tree, they're sour

Great customer service. Only problem was my package was missing an item. Was partially refunded for it. Metro card saved me getting around Athens. I loved all the history of this beautiful city. Watch out for pick pockets
The passport had been a good decision. It is also practical that public transport is included. There were no long waiting times when buying tickets, because you could go directly to the property. It is recommended in any case to go directly in the morning against 8/8: 30, because there the rush is not so big. Nice were also the bus tours, once through the city and 2 tours in Piraeus and along the beach.

A good value card making it easy to navigate around Athens. The Classic card was useful when using all transport routes (metro/train/hop on and off bus) especially from and to the airport- saved so much money.
Only downside was the Pireaeus happy train was falsely advertised in brochure as I was told when I got there this wasn’t offered anymore much to my disappointment.
