Validity: The Barcelona City Pass is valid for 2, 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days, in which a day is defined as 24 hours. The validity for visiting the attractions included in the Barcelona City Pass begins at the day that you pick as your first day of usage in your order. Please be aware that the included and discounted attractions can only be visited once. Free or discounted admission is granted after presentation of your tickets in all the included sights, museums, and attractions.
Public Transport: Use the common means of transportation like Train, Metro, Tram and Bus for FREE already from the airport on with the Barcelona City Pass as well as within the city for the desired duration. Public transportation may be used for the duration of 72, 96 and 120 hours respectively, depending upon the Pass you book. The respective validity of the Barcelona City Pass lasts regardless of the public transportation; it starts upon the first visit of an attraction. This way, you gain maximal value of the public transportation with the Barcelona City Pass and gain free admission and discounts to museums and attractions of Barcelona.
Tip: If you buy a 2 days Barcelona City Pass, you are entitled to use the public transportation for 72 hours. We recommend: Arrive at the Airport between afternoon and evening, use the public transport to get to your accommodation and use the Barcelona City Pass for the next full 2 days to explore the city.
Hop-On-Hop-Off City Tour: The Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour of Barcelona is included (with audio guide and the possibility to switch between three routes). A Hop-On-Hop-Off tour offers you the opportunity to get on and off the bus whenever you like. In this way, you can explore various popular and interesting sights in Barcelona stress-free.
Sagrada Familia: Sagrada Familia: For your priority entry to the Sagrada Familia, select a date when booking, you will receive, if available, an entry time for that day from 2 p.m., the exact time is stated on your ticket (unfortunately, we can only rarely take into account time requests, as the capacity of the Sagrada Familia is limited). You can also book an audio guide or a visit to one of the towers in addition to your priority admission, if available. Alternatively, you can deselect the Sagrada Familia if it is not available, for example, the price will then be reduced by €20 per adult and €18 per teenager/child.
If you would like to choose a time to visit the Sagrada Familia yourself, you can check availability at the following link and reserve and purchase a Sagrada ticket for yourself by clicking here. If you find your desired date there, we recommend that you reserve it quickly. For your passport, simply select "Without Sagrada" and your price will be reduced.
Sagrada Familia Tickets Availability: You may not receive a ticket due to overbooking despite the availability of the Sagrada Familia indicated by us. We therefore always recommend that you check the availability here on the official booking page of the Sagrada Familia and purchase the admission and reservation yourself straightaway. There you will sometimes also find remaining tickets if your requested date and time are not available. You will then be able to book the Barcelona City Pass "without Sagrada" when you book your City Pass. If you deselect the free and reserved entry to Sagrada, your price will be reduced. Attention: many tickets for the Sagrada Familia are offered on the Internet, please note that these are usually overpriced and not from the original operator of the Sagrada. Official tickets at the original price are available on the official website.
Please wear appropriate clothing during your visit. Otherwise you may be denied entry. Please note that waiting times at the security checkpoints are unavoidable, even with preferential admission. Further information and tips for visiting the Sagrada Familia can be found here.
Opening Hours: Some attractions, museums, and sights may not be open to the public due to organizational reasons, construction, and so forth. Some offers may also only be available on certain days or times. To be sure that the attraction you would like to visit is open, we suggest informing yourself about its opening hours on the respective attraction’s website. Please be aware that most museums in Barcelona are closed on Sundays and on holidays.
