The Museu Maritim de Barcelona is directly located inside of the royal shipyard and a great adventure on your trip to Barcelona. Inside the building war ships and trade ships were built and made a naval supremacy of the whole Mediterranean Sea possible. Exhibited fisherman boats, speedboats and a copy of a rowing galley from the 16th century can be visited in the museum. Another highlight is the three-masted schooner Santa Eulàlia which is located on the outside of the museum at the Port Vell. Also gaze at a large collection of model ships, naval instruments and figureheads.
