With the harbour cruises of the "Golondrinas" you can experience maritime Barcelona from a completely different perspective. In the 60′ tour of the port and coastline of Barcelona we will be able to see everything from the large moored cruise ships to the most emblematic elements of the city in a Las Golondrinas catamaran.

Las Golondrinas

The company "Las Golondrinas", which translates as "the swallows", began operating on the occasion of the 1888 Universal Exhibition and showed visitors the harbour from the sea for the first time during a boat trip in Barcelona.

What to see

On this 60-minute harbour tour of Barcelona, you will get to know the marina, the fishing port and the cargo port of Barcelona. You will pass the Torre del Rellotge, today a clock tower, formerly a lighthouse. You then pass the entrance to the fishing harbour and pass under the "Pont de la Porta d'Europa" bridge. This bridge can be raised for the large container ships. Then it's off to the Moll Contradic, where bulk goods such as wheat are loaded. At the container terminal, huge cranes are waiting to unload and reload gigantic container ships within a few hours.

About the route

We will leave through the commercial port sailing to the Porta d’Europa bridge (an impressive drawbridge) along the canal docks. We will go out to the open sea through the north mouth, to go up the coast and “live” the city’s skyline, from where we can see the emblematic statue of Colón , the beaches of the Barceloneta , the Olympic Port , the Hotel Wela , the Holy Family , the Agbar Tower , Collserola , the Maremagnum and the luxurious yachts moored in it PortVell.
