Reductions apply to children over the age of 6, schoolchildren, students, apprentices, recipients of unemployment benefit ii (alg-ii) and severely disabled persons. Reduced price tickets can only be granted upon presentation of the relevant identification.

The museum is centrally located, and therefore we recommend taking public transportation. Paid parking is available in the “Rathaus Passagen” parking garage (approx. 350 m). There is also very limited parking in the surrounding streets.

Special conditons of use nineties berlin

With the exception of one platform, which is located behind parts of the berlin wall for photo opportunities, “nineties berlin” is on the ground floor of Alte Münze. Photos can also be taken in front of the wall sections. Apart from this, the exhibition is arranged to allow wheelchair users to access all areas independently. A wheelchair accessible toilet is also available. 

Admission is free for persons accompanying wheelchair users and for severely disabled persons with a ‘b’ in their identification card. 

Tip: the 270-degree multimedia show features unusual images and light effects that can also be enjoyed without sound.
