The museum is located in the poets former residence, built in 1923. Mubarak bin Hamad bin Mubarak Al Manea Al Oqaili was born in Saudi Arabia 1875 and passed away in 1954. Al Oqaili is one of the most famous authors composing Nabatean art of versification. The building has a special historical meaning due to the unique ornaments applied to the façade during the construction. For the foundation the traditional materials were used in order to create the typical Arabic style. View original documents and preserved furnishings from the 19th century displayed in the museum, which is segmented into nine areas telling you more about the writer. Take in the exceptional atmosphere of one of the best preserved traditional residences in all of Dubai while visiting the Museum.

Opening hours during Ramadan (approx. May – June): Sunday to Thursday: 9.00 am – 1.30 pm 

Closed: Friday and Saturday
