The Cattedrale dell'Immagine: Florence's center for immersive art

Since 2015, the Cattedrale dell'Immagine has found its home in the historic church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, an architectural gem in the heart of Florence. From Friday 24 October to Sunday 30 November 2025, Florence's Cattedrale dell'Immagine will host the debut of Inside Pinocchio – Immersive Exhibition, a new immersive exhibition dedicated to the world's most famous puppet. Designed for children but perfect for the whole family, this exhibition transforms Carlo Collodi's classic into an unprecedented immersive experience. For 25 minutes, Inside Pinocchio will illustrate the story of the wooden puppet through breathtaking animations projected onto the majestic walls of the former church of Santo Stefano al Ponte. The story, divided into short chapters, retraces the adventures of Pinocchio and all those characters so dear to the general public: from the Blue Fairy to the Talking Cricket, from the Cat and the Fox to the terrible Shark.
