Florence Travelcard

For a relaxed start to your stay, we recommend to buy the local transport ticket for Florence directly on site. Tickets are available at Ataf automatic ticket machines, directly on the bus or at other points of sale (Ataf Point at Santa Maria Novella train station, Ticket Point). For trips within the city area, we recommend using the 90-minute ticket, which is valid for one trip. For a stay of 72 hours (3 days) we recommend to buy the "Carnet Ticket". This ticket includes 10 journeys of 90 minutes each within the city of Florence. All tickets must be stamped before departure on board, the carnet ticket must be scanned. So you can easily start your Florence city break and explore the city.

The Travelcards allow you to use the following public transport in Florence:

  • All public bus lines
  • Tramvia (Line T1)
  • Trenitalia Trains (within Florence)

There is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes from the airport to Santa Maria Novella train station.
