The Marino Marini Museum was founded at the request of Marino Marini and his wife Marina and is located in the historic San Pancrazio church. In total the museum holds 183 artworks by Marino Marini consisting of paintings, drawings, engravings and sculptures. In 1980 the artist donated the first items including 31 paintings, 30 drawings, 30 engravings and 22 sculptures. In order to complete the Marinis collection his widow donated 42 pieces in 1988 and left another 25 artworks for the museum. The Marino Marini Museum collection displays pieces created between 1916 and 1977.
