A well-signposted tour of the museum with a lot of information guides you through the interior of the world’s largest and roadworthy museum cargo ship. Enjoy an incredible journey through the interior of the ship, the conning bridge, the impressive engine room and down the shaft alley. Moreover, there are two permanent exhibitions and visitors can rent audioguides for a small extra charge.

The Cap San Diego is open all year round and is therefore also in Hamburg Schmuddelwetter the optimal destination. Every day at 10.00 am the cargo ship opens its doors and can be visited. Please note the dates of unavailability (see below).
Cap San Diego is on tour and can therefor not be visited during the following dates: 10th may, 15th june, 22nd june, 12th july, 13th july, 14th july, 4th - 9th September, 14th September
