November to March:

If you spend a weekend in Hamburg, a visit to the Hamburg fish market is almost a must. Every Sunday, Hamburgers and visitors to the Hanseatic city flock to the fish auction hall. All year round, the opening hours of the fish market are limited to the Sunday of one week only. The opening hours of the fish market in the summer months differ from the opening hours in winter. So from April to October, in the summer season, between 05:00 and 09:30 you have the chance to get fresh fruit baskets or fish rolls for little money. In the winter season, from November to March there are shortened opening hours from 07:00 to 09:30. Even in the Nordic cold you can expect a good atmosphere and warm drinks.
