The Hamburger Kunsthalle can be found right next to the central station, on the banks of the Alster Lake. It houses one of the most important German art collections that are open to the public. Beginning with masterpieces from the Middle Ages to contemporary works of art - every art lover will find something to admire! In addition to the permanent exhibition of more than 700 works, the Hamburger Kunsthalle regularly hosts special exhibitions by famous artists, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world.
