Information Speicherstadtmuseum (Ware House District Museum)

The Ware House District Museum is dedicated to showcasing the development of the Ware House District. You will experience the history of the Ware House District and learn about the history of the coffee and tea industry, which prospered in the canals of the Ware House District. The exhibit also includes information about how the work was done by dockers and Ewerführer (people who transport goods by barge between the freighters) because this was integral to the business happening in the canals. The Museum is located in one of the historical buildings in Sandtorkai.
