Located in the Guildhall Complex on Basinghall Street, the Guildhall Art Gallery was founded in 1886 as the "Collection of Art Treasures worthy of the capital city". In a relaxed atmosphere you can admire underground Roman ruins, old pictures and maps of London, portraits from the 17th century and much more from 1670 to the present age. There are also changing exhibitions here.
