The National Gallery was founded in 1824. Inside of the museum you can see more than 2300 paintings which come from the 13th until the 19th century. This collection of art is one of the most famous in the world. Even if the collection itself is smaller than other exhibitions with art, it is more extensive according to the artists.
You can have a look at paintings from Botticelli, Dürer, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Cézanne, van Gogh and Monet. Visit the National Gallery London and experience 800 years of art history.

Closed on 1 January, 24–26 December
The National Gallery has no admission fee which means that every visitor can have a look on the paintings for free.
