The Saatchi Gallery was foundet in 1985 by Charles Saatchi and houses its extensive, partly controversial private collection. After several relocations, the art gallery has been located in the Chelsea district of the former headquarters of the Duke of York since 2008. Here visitors can marvel at the works of Damien Hirste, Jake and Dinos Chapman or even Jörg Immendorff for free. Unfortunately, a fire in 2004 destroyed many specimens - but a visit is still highly recommended.
