The former royal palace called “The Queens House” is located in Londons district Greenwich. In 1616, the palace was given in order and the royal use was ended in reason of the Civil War. Completed was the building in 1653. First used as a hospital for sailors, since 1807 the former palace has been school for sailors. Since 1937 the building has been used as a part of the National Maritme Museum belonging to the royal museums Greenwich and contains exhibitions of marine paintings and potraits of known maritime personalities.

“The Queens House” is located in Londons district Greenwich. You can take the rail or the Docklands Light Railway to get there.
