The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum opened in 1977 and illustrates the history of the famous Wimbledon Stadium, where Boris Becher (at age 17) became world-famous. Here, you can hear about the development of tennis since 1555. Amongst other things, visitors can explore the locker rooms of John McEnroe and peruse through the extensive collection of journals and literature texts in the Kenneth Ritchie Wimbledon Library.
