The country house and gardens of Alfabia are located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains - and have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. Access to the garden is via a wide avenue lined with plane trees. There are also palm-lined avenues between the estate's houses, which conjure up a touch of tropical ambience in the garden. The water features are reminiscent of Arabian horticulture and the pergola, renovated in the 18th century, provides shade and connects the various water basins. In the "Queen's Garden" we find elements of an English landscape garden such as large, shady deciduous trees. The Alfabia Gardens were honoured by the "Great Gardens of the World" association and included in their collection as one of the most beautiful gardens in the world.
