There is a countless number of beaches and bays in Mallorca.

For people who love the allure of deserted beaches, the Cala des Marmols in Cap des Ses Salines is perfect for you. To get to this beach, you will have to hike about 5.5 km along the coastline. This hiking trail starts at the lighthouse in Cap de SesSalines. Although the way to reach Vala des Marmols is a long one, you will certainly enjoy the beautiful landscapes of sand and clear water on your way to the beach.

Another beach that is also very remote and doesn’t have a beach bar in sight is the Cala Varques in Porto Cristo, Manacor. To reach this beach, you will also have to walk about 20 minutes from your parking spot. A nude beach is also located next to this beach.

Although somewhat more bustling than the aforementioned beaches, the bay, Cala Torta, is also worth visiting for people who adore deserted, pristine beaches. This bay is reachable from a small city called Artà, which is located on the northeastern side of the island. In the middle of the summer, a small beach bar and a nude beach opens here. Its smaller neighboring bays, Cala Mitjana and Cala Estreta, are also one of the most beautiful bays in Mallorca.

For people who would like to spend their time somewhere more lively, we recommend visiting the Platja de Muro. This beach is located on the bay of Alcúdia, which is located on the northeastern part of the island and is four kilometers long and thirty meters wide. Because of its flat landscape, this beach is especially good for families with children and sport enthusiasts. Banana boats, kite surfing, sailing boats, diving gear, and surfing gear are all offered on the beach. A volleyball net can also be found on the beach. Sun umbrellas and lounge chairs can be rented out, and showers are also available for use. There is also a number of pubs and bars on the beach promenade, so everything will be provided from the start of your beach day to late in the evening.
