Palau March is the former city palace of the famous Mallorcan family, March. It was built in 1939 and was later owned by the Bartolomé March Severa Foundation. In 2003, descendants of Joan March opened an impressive art collection of modern and contemporary art. Art work that are included in this collection include sculptures by Rodin, wall paintings by Dali, and mallorcan paintings, antiques, and cartography. This city palace offers a unique view of Palma and the harbor. Please note that the city palace is booked on some days of the year for certain events. For this reason, the opening hours of the palace may be different on these days.
