The hiking trails in Mallorca have been gradually better signposted. For those who would like to spend their holidays being active via hiking, Mallorca has many hiking opportunities for you.

There are trails that run alongside bays (see the Island Tips section for Cala des Marmls and CalaVarques), and there are also mountain hiking trails, as well as trails in the inland areas of Mallorca.

For people who prefer to hike on flat trails, the inland areas of Mallorca has numerous possibilities to hiking in the middle of beautiful landscapes.Mountain walkers will also find Mallorca a great place to hike! For example, there is a monastery hiking tour in the Muntanya de Randa. This tour takes about 2.5 hours and takes you to three monasteries: Santuari de la Gràcia, Santuari de Sant Honorat and Santuari de Cura.

The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range (which the highest point is at 1400 meters), also offers a variety of hiking trails that have appealing secluded nature all around the trail. Simply inform yourself about the difficulty of different trails when you arrive and pick a route to experience unique and unforgettable views of the island.
