Further information Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience

The Rafa Nadal Museum in Manacor is the perfect combination of information and activity. There is something to do and learn for every visitor.
The museum is divided into two parts: the exhibition and the interactive floor.
The top floor of the museum - for many people the most interesting - is the interactive floor. Every visitor gets the possibility to participate somehow. Not by doing sports like normally but by doing it virtually. Since the museum has a great number of simulators visitors have the opportunity to identify for this moment with the professional athletes and make unforgettable memories. The goal is to practice the values of competitive sport which were explained in the films before. An example is the discipline rowing, where team spirit plays the most important role. 6 boats make a competition. In this discipline it is not about the most power, the team who works best together wins. Formula One simulators make it possible to work with speed. Visitors do a test for their reaction time in advance. In the interactive floor one can additionally find mountain biking and tennis and are allowed to try each of them.
The exhibition portrays Rafael Nadals cups and medals, his tennis racket collection and further information about him. Besides, the exhibition also includes exhibits from other famous athletes who donated them to the museum. Visitors can admire original shirts of the Spanish national football team, Roger Federer, Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Pau Gasol. Another highlight is the original car with which Alonso won the championship in 2005 as well as the helmet of Sebastian Vettel.
The information is projected on glass cabinets where visitors can read the explanations in three different languages. This technology gives the museum an extraordinary character.
In another room, a little cinema auditorium, short films are played telling about the values of competitive sport. At the end of the exhibition visitors get information about the Rafael Nadal Foundation. The admission fee visitors pay is used for projects to help deprived children in Palma.

The Rafa Nadal Museum shows competitive sport from a new perspective by combining information, interaction and technology.
