With its motto, “natural history as an experience,” the Museum Mensch and Nature in the Nymphenburg Castle invites visitors to interactively learn.
The Museum Mensch und Natur is a place where visitors (both young and old) can experience, learn, and explore. Admire spectacular dioramas, numerous authentic nature objects, and many interactive exhibits.
Let yourself be fascinated by the center piece of the museum: “Spielerische Naturkunde nicht nur für Kinder,” which is a department of the museum that showcases phenomena of the plant and animal world. Here you can experience how an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.8 (which can cause walls, shelves, and freeways to collapse) feels like in an earthquake simulator. Here you will also experience the colorful diversity in nature, which focuses on the nutrition of humans and animals.
