Explore the city of Regensburg, whose medieval inner city has been acknowledged as an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.
Regensburg became famous in the 12th and 13th century due to its booming economy with plenty of commercial ties to Paris, Venedig and Kiew. One of the most attractive sights are the city hall from the 14th century, the famous cathedral, an ideal example for pure German gothic architecture and the famous “stone bridge”, truly the peak of medieval construction, which served as model for bridge building projects over several centuries.
The knowledgeable tour guide accompanies you on the 1,5 hour train ride to Regensburg and takes you closer to all the highlights of the city.
Afterwards, in the afternoon you will have time to explore the city alone before returning to Munich together in the evening.
