The Brooklyn Historical Society allows its visitors to get a glimpse into the history of Brooklyn and its inhabitants. The museum depicts this history in many exhibits, such as ones that are about how the architecture and art changed in Brooklyn, the kinds of literature about Brooklyn and those that have its roots in this neighborhood, as well as how different social movements made an impact in Brooklyn. See Brooklyn buildings from the 19th century and take a journey through four centuries of Brooklyn history.
Wednesday – Sunday: 12 AM – 5 PM
The museum is closed the 1 January, Easter Sunday, 4 July, Thanksgiving and the following day as well as the 25 December.
