Fraunces Tavern is one of the oldest still preserved buildings in New York City and is nowadays known as the place where George Washington left his officers during a meal in 1783. The space in which this dinner took place is open to the public. In addition to this the museum can learn about the American Revolution and the beginnings of the American Republic. Use the time and eat in the restaurant of this historic building.
