The museum "Espaces Mode et Textile" makes every fashion heart beat faster. On 2 levels and a total of 1500 m², an estimated 16,000 costumes, 35,000 fashion accessories and 30,000 pieces of textiles are on display to the public. This makes it one of the three largest fashion exhibitions in the world.
Whether traditional costumes from the Regency period or current textile innovations - in this museum the steps of fashion development from the 7th century onwards can be vividly traced back. Apart from historical tailoring, you will always find pieces by famous fashion designers such as Christian Dior, Raoul Dufy, Paul Poiret or Madeleine Vionnet.
