Built in 1905 the museum presents French military history from prehistoric rimes to 1945, with over 50,000 objects raniging from various weapon collections to uniforms and paintings.In the area "Église du Dôme" (Dome of Invalidity), are the tombs of Napoleon l and his son Eaglet, as well as tombs of various important military figures such as Turenne, Vauban, Foch and many others. The "Historical de Gaulle" is an audiovisual tour that tells the story of Charles de Gaulle's life.
