The territory of the "Musée des Arts décoratifs" extends to the very north of the magnificent Louvre Palace. Opened in 1905, the art museum has 9 floors and an exhibition area of almost 9,000m². This museum houses the privileged testaments of the French way of life.
It provides information on the manners of the craftsmen and industrialists, as well as giving visitors an insight into the research and creativity of the artists and the generosity of their donors.
