"Villa Les Hueres Claires" - That's what the Villa Savoye is colloquially called. It was built between 1928 and 1932 by Charles Edouard Jeannert in Poissy, northwest of Paris. This internationally recognized masterpiece is the perfect application for a theory that explains the new architecture. Unlike the usual museums and villas of the Savoye era, it gives the impression of being a modern object created in the present. With a flat roof and kept in plain white, it shows considerable similarities with contemporary architectural works.
