You could not visit Rome better! I recommend to anyone who wants to visit Rome with Rome City Pass to make that happen.
The best thing was to just pass the long, long lines! The entrances, which were already included in the price and use of public transport made it relaxed and easy in Rome. The hop on hop off buses in which we drove were unfortunately in need of overhaul. Of the jacks for the headphones worked only a fraction, so that the explanations for the city tour pretty much failed.
when visiting the Vatican not from streets / Info seller an additional Tiket aufschwatzen
The beauty and grandeur of Rome is amazing. Be sure to visit this city! You will love and remember it for life!
The approximately 100 EUR for the 3-day pass are worthwhile. In many museums there is a discount,. A big savings with the Rome city pass you do not actually have, if you only look at the financial side. The really big win is the waiting time saved. I noticed it right in the Colosseum. There I came out after about 3 hours, there were still some without a pass in the field. I highly recommend it. Also, the trip with the blue hop on hop off buses is recommended and included in the price. Also the possibility to return with the pass from the airport to the city center and on the departure day is very pleasant. You will be informed beforehand which line you can drive and thus saves considerably expensive taxi or shuttle costs.
Just great, we just walked past each line, which saved us a lot of time. I would buy a passport again at any time.
Everything great !
For the use of the buses, the knowledge of the directions is absolutely necessary. But this is difficult for short trips. There was no information. We used the metro with the card for free, which was usually enough. Good also the possibility of the city tour with the "blue" buses. The stop for these buses was only to be found after a long "asking around", as several bus companies offer the city tours. The execution of the tours was very well organized with German audio tour. That was very good for getting an overview.
Especially at the Coliseum and in the Vatican, the avoidance of waiting times was worthwhile. If you want to visit all attractions within a short time the City Pass is a good choice.
The approximately 100 EUR for the 3-day pass are well worth it. There are discounts in many museums, and a few are not on the list, but are accessible for free with the pass. The Castel Sant'Angelo is among them. However, you should not pay purely financially, which brings the pass. In three days you can see major attractions such as the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Roman Forum with the Colosseum and one or two other museums without hurry, but without a pass but might not quite on the 100 EUR. The savings as bus & metro 3-day ticket is certainly not gigantic, since the ÖVPN in Rome is very cheap and very crowded at peak times (depending on the goal run better). The big added value lies in the saved waiting times. Especially in the case of the Vatican Museums - there are as advertised by the provider an extra access, through which you within 2 minutes at the gigantic tourist queues in the museum (the Vatican time slot on the ticket I could ignore without any problems) , It is sometimes written on the Web that, despite promised special access, there is only one queue waiting for you - yes, if you follow the herd instinct as a couple or single and get into the "group" queue, of course. Own fault!
I would buy again and again for every city. The preferential admission to different museums is a great thing if the Romans get up to 50,000 a day, eg. through the Vatican. You can not have claustrophobia, but it's worth it. The free ride on buses and trams is a rest for sore feet.
Super easy
Just awesome. We did not have to worry about 2 adults and 2 kids anymore. Metro - Coliseum - Vatican, etc. everything without having to queue, including airport transfer. Can only recommend that. Will we book again for our next city trip?
Visiting the englsburg was a highlight! Hop on hop off is recommended to reach the sights well and quickly. We picked up the passport in Rome, worked smoothly and quickly. Overall recommendable!
At first, the price may be a bit frightening, but if you want to see a lot and look at the individual prices of the respective attractions, the pass is an advantage. Also that you do not have to queue to buy a ticket is very pleasant.
The Rome City Pass has met almost all expectations. Especially helpful the little booklet with the tips z. Eg Sistine Chapel. The Coliseum is missing an info: only with a guide you get into special areas (all the way up, ...). At the next visit to Rome definitely with City Pass !!
City Pass is recommended for everyone, it saves a lot of time and has a great value for money. All activities are easily accessible by public transport and no stress with tickets and entrance tickets.
This pass is absolutely brilliant. Most definitely well worth the money. Turbo pass were fantastic when I had a problem. Not caused by turbo pass. Would recommend this to everyone.
Great past all the long queues. Rein in the metro, bus or train. Good all round
