The pass takes you to all attractions without long queues. We have used it several times, always uncomplicated.
Years ago my colleague and I had the City Pass for the first time in Rome and this time we did it again with friends. Everything worked out great again. It would be great if you had tickets for public transport or the Vatican straight away. But it also works well with pickup. If you've been in Rome for a few days, you might find it annoying. The quick entry is simply the best thing about it. If you consider that some people stand in the sun for hours at over 30 degrees, it's an absolute no-go. The Vatican visit this time wasn't particularly worth seeing because, unlike 10 years ago, up to 30,000 people seemed to be being dragged through every day and it was really just a push through. You couldn't see anything in peace, not to mention any Covid measures when body pushing against body was very uncomfortable. There definitely needs to be a restriction because nobody benefits from it. I had seen everything but my three companions were totally disappointed. Recently in London we unfortunately didn't order a city pass and for London that was a big mistake because the entrance fees and the queues were too long. So for us, depending on what you're doing and how long you're staying... we'll always get the City Pass again. Thanks for the easy ordering etc.
Except at Castel Sant'Angelo where we had to wait half an hour for the person who gave us our tickets to arrive, everything was quick and efficient. We tested the hop on hop of bus, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Vatican museums with the Sistine Chapel, the wax museum (which is far from equal to the Grévin museum), the Caracalla thermal baths, the Domitian stadium, the da Vinci museum experience. Don't hesitate to try the frosted lemons from the Limon'è stores! Avoid holiday taxi shuttles with high prices and which do not respect their commitments (we had to find a taxi at 3:30 in the morning because the shuttle did not come) plus the taxi trip was cheaper.
Since we had already bought a Turbopass and the booking of the tour was known. We have seen a lot during that time. The tour of the Vatican went smoothly.
Thanks to the turbopass, there are almost no waiting times. Were the very first in the Colosseum. The contact persons were also identified without any problems. We recommend. Perhaps a possibility can still be generated for St. Peter's Basilica in the future. Then it would be even more than perfect.
I can only recommend the Rome City Pass. From the airport transfer to the fast-lane tickets to the tickets for local transport and city tours, everything worked great. Everything was planned in advance and so we were able to enjoy our stay in Rome without any stress. Gladly again!
The Turbopass is very efficient. There is no need to queue anywhere, you always have priority entry and there is an enormous selection of museums and sights. You should make sure that you also visit the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum on the day you book the Colloseum, otherwise your tickets will expire. Be sure to register for the papal audience or Sunday mass via the Vatican website. Tickets are free but only available for a limited time. Complements great with the passport.
It is often written that you can book the included attractions yourself and actually save nothing. The money saved is rather small, but the amount of time saved cannot be estimated enough. In the documents everything is described in great detail how and where some required tickets can be picked up (e.g. Castel Sant'Angelo and Pantheon). Thanks to these tickets, we were able to avoid all (really all) queues on our Rome holiday. I am really happy with the Turbopass/Rome City Pass.

We would buy the Turbopass again at any time. It took a few weeks until we received the documents by email. But it paid off. No queuing to get in - everything is included, even the pastries are stored at the Termini! Would recommend it to everyone - then you won't need any more money for sightseeing

We really enjoyed and appreciated the benefits of the pass. There were not once any questions or complications and our additional tickets for the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum, the 72-hour public transport ticket and the airport shuttle are all recommended. Especially as a family with children, it made a lot of things easier for us and we didn't have to worry about queuing for hours for tickets. For the Colosseum, we would recommend joining a group and taking a booked tour, as a group can also access the lower area, which was unfortunately closed to us. We can also definitely recommend a visit to the thermal baths of Caracalla, as you can really get a great insight and learn a lot of interesting facts.

We booked the pass for 5 days with the Colosseum and Vatican Museums. Everything worked out wonderfully. The tickets for the Colosseum and Vatican arrived early by email. Inquiries were answered very quickly by email in German. The pass was accepted at all the locations we used (Castel Sant'Angelo, Hop-on Hopp-off, etc.). The information about the respective sights was all correct. Everything worked really well. I can only recommend the pass. TOP!
