Travel with Turbopass is worthwhile!
The Rome City Pass was well worth it for us! Activation was straightforward and we saved not only money but also time. We had the 3-day pass for reasons of time only two days use, nevertheless we had saved money for the admissions / means of transport - contrary to payments locally. A star deduction, as the Vatican tour was fully booked (time was requested early enough). At my request if an alternative could be offered was unfortunately not received. A credit note was refunded immediately. Conclusion: We would not do without a pass on another trip to Rome.
I am very satisfied we passed all queues quickly. I just thought it was a shame that we did not get an appointment for the Vatican that should have been more visible before, but we got a refund directly.
Trastevere is a cozy place with many small restaurants. We recommend. Most sights are close to the city and also within easy walking distance. We had a good time in Rome.
Preferential admission definitely saves a lot of time. With the public transport one has got, with the pass, everywhere.
The pass is very convenient as you have paid everything to avoid having to pay extra. It all goes very quickly. Even in high season. And you do not have to have so much money with you. In a city with a high risk of pickpocketing, it's better that way.
The Rome Pass was a wonderful support! The information in the booklet was super helpful and very interesting. Admission and queues adé! The only drawback: If there is "free entry in the colonnade" one does not assume a one-time free entry. The same goes for the hop on / hop off buses. Ps: for another day of HO / HO, it pays to look for other buses that appear every 5 minutes instead of 20 minutes. Still, it was great!

Everywhere we walked easily past the long queues, which was very pleasant especially with the Vatican Museums and the Coliseum. We only had to wait a long time for the hop-on-hop-off bus so that we barely thought it would come at all. Other providers drove with a much narrower clocking.
It was just great ... a thousand people, but you just pass it and even the barrier is accompanied - the Turbo Pass VIP: D We really exhausted the HOP ON HOP OFF tour, was great and super practical. The public transport was also okay, but there would be really great if the train was also included (within the city area) - for the price that would go out already;) We were more than happy to have him and I would do exactly the same again, otherwise we would have the whole attractions NEVER and NIMMER in our 3-day stay can accommodate (and even without waiting would almost run out with the flight home;))

Using the Roma pass proved to be a great experience. It's the first time I use such system, but I will do that again. There are so many places were without it you'd have to wait hours (Vatican is the worst for that) without it! The bus tour was a first for me too, but it interesting in the end: it's a nice way to see parts of the town you'd not necessarily see, and hear stories you'd not know about otherwise. Very pleasant!
It's a very usefull card that will allow you not to waste precious time on the queues.
The only problem was that the pickup point was closed (tecnhical problems) and no one warn us and we had to go 2km to the next pick up point. You should have the possibility to send just buy email a code, no need to pick up a virtual card. Or maybe on the monuments we should be able to get it there.
But all the rest was very good.
In itself, the Roma pass is great. You can avoid the queuing at the main attractions, especially at the Vatican, and it works as it is described. Among other things, there are also valuable tips and tricks that really work (for example, to get from the Sistine Chapel directly to St. Peter's Basilica). Nevertheless, within the scope of the museums only through the Roma Pass would be free museums, anyway, are free. But all in all worth the Roma pass, because you really have nowhere to queue and thus everything is very fast.
The public transport in Rome is always overcrowded. The city tour is not optimal, since the busses contained in the pass, only very rarely come (all other providers have much more buses in circulation) and not all stops were approached. The tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican were great - right past the snake.
Everything is included, the price is a bit too high!
Everything was perfect, we really got through everywhere right away without getting up. However, the Schriftl.Info, at 6 days to use the passports successively, is not correct, it is everywhere required both.
The most important sights are already included, what more could you want. The included hop-on-hop-off tour could be better. Only a few sights are presented here. All public transport is included (bus, tram, metro). Note: book well in advance, so you also in sights, where you need a viewing appointment (Vatican). Service is great! Since we were too late, we have the costs that would have incurred for the Vatican, get refunded. If the transfer from the airport Fiumicino could be booked, you would have a carefree package.
