You have to run Rome! Everywhere you can find interesting buildings! If, thanks to the Rome City Pass, you can avoid the sometimes very long queues at the main sights, that's a huge win. At the beginning of May the temperatures are bearable, but many others probably thought so too - or is it always so full?
Hello everybody. We were really happy to have booked the Rome City Pass beforehand. We have not saved much by this now, as if we had paid for what we did individually. But the time you save on the huge queues is priceless. Therefore an absolute buy recommendation from us.
Man hat ein Sammelticket für vieles und umgeht so manche Warteschlange. Man sollte sich jedoch vorgängig genau überlegen, was man alles sehen möchte. Sonst wirds dann doch zu teuer. Werden in einer anderen Stadt ins sicher wieder den Turbopass anschauen.
Da wir den Rom City Pass sehr kurzfristig gebucht haben, gab es keine Tickets mehr für das Vatikanmuseum. Dieser Anteil wurde uns anstandslos gutgeschrieben. Faire Geste.
The Turbopass is definitely worth it - above all, because it saves a lot of time. But beware: In several places it is mentioned that the Castel Sant'Angelo in the 3-day pass is additionally free. It is not so; Castel Sant'Angelo, like all other activities, belongs to the 2 free entries. That was a bit annoying and should be corrected on the website and in the flyer.
Independence from the main station. It would be nice if the Flighafentransfer would also be included. Otherwise only benefits with the card. Highly Recommended. Important: good planning of the "big" attractions, as only a limited number per day possible.
We were totally fascinated by the city. Thanks to the turbo pass separate entrance to the Colosseum and Vatican (had the 3 day pass). That was great, not a long queuing. Trevi Fountain at night, you have to see.
Thanks to the turbo pass, it was a nice day in Rome. Past the snakes was extremely helpful. In Trastevere, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo and in the Spagna district there are nice places and restaurants everywhere. Unfortunately, I can not give any tips, because I did not take notes of those we visited and rated as nice.
Easy to use. Everything was included by default. Would have been nice if we could just choose the times for a select few places, but otherwise glad that the Roma Pass was included with everything.
So overall, the Rome City Pass is worth it, if you do not want to waste time buying tickets, especially the train tickets, because you simply scan your own pass at the barrier. We also made only the top attractions that you can book online as tickets or at some train stations in the tunnel, which we did not know. The Hop on Hop off tour on the last day we made was very nice, but !!!! It would have been great if you had also gotten a plan of the rides in the voucher, because the information of Turbopass from the last times was unfortunately wrong because at the moment the bus is even at 20 clock, which we also only on day could still have managed ... So if that would be settled, that would be top :)
Booking, pickup and support went really well. Passing the long queues and getting in pretty fast is just great! What is not solved so well are the children's passports. For our son we still had to get a free ticket and could not just put the pass on the entrance scanner. Although this was basically also quite fast, but was not pointed out. Access to the metro encountered the same problem. Why children are not treated the same way as adults do not open up and spoil the fun of the otherwise highly recommended Turbopass
We went to Rome and we had a great weekend. A place you must go to is the Pantheon built by Marcus Agrippa and still standing as the house of gods.
The Rome City Pass was very time-saving, but not cheap. My disappointment: if on the 3 - day, the next day after the Colosseum and Forum visit, we wanted to visit the Palatine, unfortunately entry was invalid with the Rom pass. I can recommend Turbopass, because you never have to wait in front of the cash register.
Roma Pass is a great idea that saves a lot of time, because you pass the long queues. We were there at Easter two adults and two children (2.6). The only thing to be improved is, if you travel with small children you need for the a card (free ticket). So even though we had Roma Pass, we had to get free tickets for kids. I asked the topic even before the trip, because I would be told that the children are free and come in. Unfortunately that's not true, we had to hire again. Luckily our kids are early risers, so we were usually at the top.
We were in Rome with thousands of people at Easter. Great, if you can just walk past the long line and have more time for the sights! The entrance to the Vatican was refunded to us as it was already booked and partially closed due to the Easter celebrations. Many Thanks! We did not need the public transport because we were very central in the hotel. Nevertheless, on the whole, a great offer.
We chose the Rome City Pass for 4 people and 3 days (2 adults + 2 adolescents <18 years). All entrances were easy except for the 3-day ticket for public transport. Here we had to solve for our guys extra a 3-day ticket. Otherwise, the Rome City Pass gave us insights into the eternal city, which we will not forget.
Has everything worked so far, only a pity that you have to pay for some attractions such as the Coliseum, the Castel Santas, etc. for the kids extra for a ticket - although free but still an unnecessary effort. Also that the subway tickets are extra and not non-contact as with the adults is actually incomprehensible to me - there is potential. All in all, the card is worth it!
