The Museo Pio Cristiano houses a collection of Early Christian work. Pope Pius IX founded the Museo Pio Cristiano in 1854. The Museo Pio Cristiano has opening hours all-year round. Opening hours of the museum are between 09:00AM and 06:00PM. The Museo Pio Cristiano in Rome offers opening hours from the first day of the week to Saturday evening so that you have enough time to admire all of the Christian artwork in the museum. The Museo Pio Cristiano does not offer opening hours on Sundays. We would like to point out an abnormality in the abovementioned opening hours: last admission into the Museo Pio Cristiano takes place 2 hours before closing time- so at 04:00PM. The museum closes at 06:00PM. However, you will have to start vacating the halls about half an hour before closing time.
