You have free travel on buses, trams and vaporettos (water buses). With this ticket, you can get to the various sights in Venice quickly and easily. You can add a local transit ticket (valid 1–7 days) to your Venice City Pass. The Venice Flex Pass includes a 1‑day public transport ticket.

Vaporetto trips: With the public transport ticket, tourists can use the famous water buses, known as vaporettos, to get around the canals of Venice. This not only provides a unique view of the city, but also convenient connections to the main attractions.
Island hopping: Venice has many fascinating islands in the lagoon, including Murano (known for glass blowing), Burano (known for colourful houses and lace making) and Torcello (with historical attractions). The public transport ticket allows tourists to easily visit these islands.
Lido di Venezia: The public transport ticket also allows tourists to travel to Lido di Venezia, an island known for its beaches, cafes and the Venice Film Festival.
Exploring Mestre: The public transport ticket allows tourists to easily travel from Venice to Mestre on the mainland to explore the eastern parts of the city and its diverse attractions.
Buses and trams: Tourists can also use the buses and trams in Venice to get around the mainland and the city.

With the optional local transport ticket, you can take the following trips:
• Bus, tram, and vaporetto within Venice
• Trips to Lido di Venezia Trips from Punta Sabbioni to Venice and back
• Trips to Murano, Burano, and Torcello by vaporetto (all lines within Venice)
• Bus and tram rides to and from Mestre (except lines 5 and 15)
• Rides on bus line 11
Please note that the local transport ticket is not valid for airport transfers.
Period of validity
If you decide to add the optional public transport ticket, you can explore the city in comfort. You can travel for free on buses, trams and vaporettos (water buses). This ticket is a quick and easy way to get to the various attractions in Venice.
You can optionally add a local transit ticket valid for 1 to 7 days to your Venice City Pass. With the Venice Flex Pass, you’ll receive a 1-day public trasport ticket. In addition, along with your Venice Pass, you’ll receive a pickup voucher that you can redeem at various pickup locations.
Visitor information
The tickets are valid from the time they are validated:
• for the 1-day Venice Pass, you will receive a day ticket (24 hours) for public transport,
• for the 2-day Venice Pass, you will receive a 2-day ticket (48 hours) for public transport,
• for the 3 day Venice Pass, you will receive a 3-day ticket (72 hours) for public transport,
and for the 4-5-6-7-day Venice Pass, you will receive a 7-day ticket (168 hours) for public transport
