Navigate the city by adding a Venice Travelcard to your order, completing your Venice City Pass sightseeing package. Choose a transport ticket for 1, 2, 3, or 7 days (valid in 24 hours, not calendar days) that best suits your time in Venice. Together with Venice City Pass you will receive your pick-up voucher for redemption at numerous pick-up points. The Travelcard is another great way to save time and money, as you won’t be wasting time standing in line to buy daily travelcards to get from place to place.
The ticket is not valid for, among other things, the trip to and from the airport, the Express Bus Transfer (by ATVO), water cabs and gondolas and Alilaguna scheduled services, Vaporetti Venice
Children under 10 travel free on the Venice transport network.
TIP: If you are traveling to Venice during a public holiday there might be some line closures on the public transport networks, so it is always best to plan your route in advance to avoid disappointment or delays.
The vaporetti run from 6 am to midnight. In addition, there are some night lines. The Vaporetto Linea N -with stops at Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia Station, S.Zaccaria, Canale Giudecca, Canal Grande and Lido S.M.E. runs every 30 minutes during the night.
The Vaparetto of line 1 can be used to cross the Grand Canal. Along the Grand Canal, the Vaparetto stops at almost every stop between Piazzale Roma and Lido. The Line 2 Vaparetto also travels this route, but does not stop at all stops.
The use of the Vaporettos are included in the Venice Travelcard!
Please note: the public transportation ticket is an optional offer and service and results in a surcharge (service fee). You may also purchase public transportation tickets on your own after arrival, but you must determine where tickets are sold and which ticket tariffs are most suitable for you.
