The Museum of Embroidery is located on the small island of Burano in the former building of the Embroidery School of Burano. After closing the school in 1978, many available documents, certificates, and pieces by artisans were organized for the museum. The exhibition is structured by every century, starting from the 16th century, and is furnished with videos, picture explanations, and even a demonstration of how bobbin lace is made to help make the art of embroidery easier to understand.
