How flexible am I when using the pass?

Very flexible! You can visit most attractions, such as the National Archaeological Museum or Herculaneum, in any order and during the respective opening hours. Only those attractions for which you book a fixed date are subject to this binding date.

How does the City Pass work on site?

Simply show your digital City Pass at the respective attraction. In most cases, this will give you direct entry, sometimes you will be issued a free ticket. At partner shops, you show the pass before your purchase to receive your discount. For tours, you give your City Pass code to the provider to receive your discount.

Are there special prices and rules for children and young people?

Yes, there are different price categories of the Naples City Pass because the tickets for children and young people are cheaper. Special rules apply to visits to the archaeological sites. EU citizens under the age of 18 often have free entry, but still need a ticket and proof of age. With the Naples City Pass, you can avoid queues at the ticket counters.

Is there a recommended route or a daily plan?

Spend the first few days exploring the city of Naples to get to know its unique history and way of life. Day 1 could be dedicated to the Archaeological Museum and Napoli Sotterranea – both excellent places to delve deep into the city's fascinating past. On day 2, you can explore more of Naples' highlights and enjoy the atmosphere of this lively city – for example, with a street food tour or a first visit to the ancient ruins at Herculaneum. We recommend visiting Pompeii on day 3. With a good understanding of Naples and its way of life, you will be able to experience the ancient origins of the region even more intensely. Plan half a day to a full day for this. If you have booked the Reggia di Caserta, you should plan a separate day for this. For Pompeii and Herculaneum, take the Circumvesuviana railway. You can easily reach the Reggia di Caserta by regional train. Many attractions in the city centre are within walking distance.

How does the ticket for Pompeii work?

The ticket for Pompeii is already included in the Naples City Pass. However, you must book the date and a time slot before your visit. Pompeii is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the world and is located about 25 kilometres southeast of Naples. The site is easily accessible by regional train.
