Visit the Athens Olympic Museum with the Athens City Pass

The Athens Olympic Museum's permanent exhibition spans 1,800 m² and offers an immersive journey through Olympism—from Ancient Olympia and the 1896 revival in Athens to the return of the Games in 2004 and beyond. Using contemporary interactive multimedia and authentic memorabilia, the museum follows a clear narrative arc across three milestones: Birth, Revival, and Return. Don't miss the interactive wall map of the ancient Games, the animated documentary on the 1894 Sorbonne Congress, and the hands-on stations where you can explore Olympic history through sound, image and interactive learning.
