How does the City Pass work on site?

Simply show your digital City Pass at the respective attraction – either printed out or directly on your smartphone. In most cases, this will grant you direct entry without having to queue at the ticket office. In some cases, you will be issued a free admission ticket on site. How do the day trips to Segovia and Toledo work?

Both excursions – to Segovia with its cathedral and Alcázar, and the half-day trip to Toledo – require advance booking by email. You will receive the contact details with your digital City Pass. Segovia excursion: A 5-hour excursion to the famous city with its Roman aqueduct, Gothic cathedral and fairytale Alcázar. Toledo half-day trip: A morning (half-day) trip to the historic city of Toledo with a guided tour of the impressive cathedral. Transfer from Madrid is included in both tours. How do the hop-on hop-off buses work?

With your Madrid City Pass, you can use the Big Bus panoramic bus tours. Due to current city regulations, these are currently sightseeing tours without the option to hop on and off at stops, as the city is currently renegotiating contracts with the operators. Simply show your City Pass to a bus operator and you will receive your bus ticket. The audio commentary is included free of charge and available in several languages. This gives you a great overview of Madrid and allows you to discover the most important sights from the comfort of the bus. The panoramic tour is perfect for getting a first impression of the city and planning your further sightseeing.

How does the flamenco show work?

For the flamenco show "Emociones", you need to book your ticket in advance by email. You will receive all the details for your booking with your digital City Pass. The show offers an authentic flamenco experience with professional dancers and musicians in an atmospheric setting. The perfect end to a day in Madrid! Please book at least 2-3 days in advance.

How does the bike tour work?

Advance booking by email is required for the Historical Vintage Bike Tour from Bizi Tours. You will find the contact details in your digital City Pass. The tour takes you on historic routes through Madrid and shows you the city from a very special perspective. Book at least 2 days in advance and provide your City Pass code when booking.

Are audio guides or guided tours included?

The audio commentary is already included in the price of the panoramic bus tour. Audio guides are included in your City Pass for the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace. For other attractions, it varies: some offer free audio guides, while others allow you to purchase/rent them on site for a small fee.

Is there free Wi-Fi at the attractions?

Most modern museums in Madrid offer free Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is often available on the Panorama buses. In general, Wi-Fi coverage in Madrid's tourist areas is very good, so you should always be able to find a way to stay connected.

Can I leave my belongings somewhere/are there lockers?

Larger museums such as the Prado Museum usually have lockers or a cloakroom where you can store your belongings safely. Large bags are not allowed in some areas of the Royal Palace, so it is best to take only the essentials with you. There are also luggage lockers in many underground stations and at the airport if you are travelling with heavy luggage.
