Visit the exhibition "Ancient Greece - The Origins of Technologies" at the Kotsanas Museum
Visit the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in the heart of Athens, just a few steps away from the Greek Parliament. On a total area of 700 square meters, you have the opportunity to get to know a relatively unknown aspect of ancient Greek culture.
The exhibition includes around 100 selected exhibits that tell you more about the origins of technologies, from Philon's robot servant and "cinema" to Heron's automatic theater and from Ktesibios' hydraulic clock to the Antikythera mechanism.
Enjoy a hands-on experience with fully functional models and visit the museum's souvenir store, where you can buy handmade models, copies of the museum exhibits by Marios Kotsanas.
