The Kotsanas Museum houses around 42 fully functional reconstructions of ancient Greek musical instruments and games. The museum is one of the most complete and authentic of its kind in the world. For example, you can admire the helicon and the sixth string of Pythagoras, the lyre of Hermes, the magnificent guitar of Apollo, the Homeric phorminx, the harp of Sappho, the Ptolemaic helicon and the panpipe. Don't miss listening to the oldest known song in the world by Seikilos and getting to know the "Hydraulis of Ktesibios, the world's first keyboard instrument. And don't forget to play with Archimedes' (O)stomachion, the first puzzle in history, and the Trias, the first tic-tac-toe game in history!
