Discover the ancient culture of Bohemia, Moravia and Sudeten Silesia

Opened in 2020, the Sudeten German Museum is the central museum of the German-speaking population in the historical lands of Bohemia, Moravia and Sudeten Silesia, today's Czech Republic. The permanent exhibition documents the German settlement in Bohemia, Moravia and Sudeten Silesia. It spans a broad historical arc from the internal development of these areas to the nationality conflicts of modern times.

Learn more about the rich traditions, customs and forms of expression of the Sudeten Germans, but also about the topics of flight and expulsion. The museum follows a modern concept with interactive media stations, and a four-language multimedia guide leads you through the exhibition.

Tip: The museum has five levels and offers a beautiful view of Munich from above.
