The Sea Llife Munich aquarium in Olympiapark offers an unique impression into the various fascinating world of the sea. You will begin your journey under the sea by visiting the Isar river, then the Karwendel mountain range, where you will encounter 3000 beings of the topical ocean along the way like seahorses, sting rays, and moray eels. The aquarium is also home to Bavaria’s one and only sea turtle, so don’t forget to visit him! Meet over 20 different types of sharks such as black tip reef sharks, the zebra sharks “Pünktchen” and “Antonia, and the nurse shark, “Fridolin.” At the interactive touching basins, you can experience marine life for yourself. Did you know that sea anemones aren’t considered plants, but are actually animals? You will learn interesting facts like this here. In addition to this, knowledgeable employees of the aquarium will teach you how you can protect the ocean.
