We booked an onlineticket for the dungeon. It was assured, so that without long waiting times and without standing to get in. But we had no advantages. First long queue at the checkout, then queuing at the entrance
Great way to see the city and get around
Worth it in all cases
It has worked well with the Hamburg City Pass. There are several possibilities! At the harbor tour it was a bit cumbersome to find the right office, with which you can book the trip over the city pass. It was definitely worth it! Would take him back.
The better you plan (absolutely necessary for savings), the more you can experience. What we had selected for offers, we managed and it worked, also thanks to the information about the passport, everything without problems. This city is always recommended with many construction sites and even more "touris" ;-) and when the weather plays, everything is supi. It would be nice if everyone would accept the mobile phone code, also love the environment.
A good choice
The Hamburg City Pass was very good as you can visit many attractions free of charge and as the public transport is fully included.
However, it should be made clearer for the customers, that for some tickets they have to head to certain office, e.g. for taking part in the bus sightseeing tour.
Good
We (3 persons) for the Hamburg visit in advance ordered the Hamburg City Pass for 3 days and received. This was "golden" - since all the offered visits and trips could be carried out according to an own day program. We have a lot to see and experience. The days were filled out completely - without stress while queuing to purchase tickets and entrance fees and we also saved. Only when participating in the city tour did the problem arise that the issuing office of the tickets was not occupied and we had to force the journey only after time-bargaining negotiations.
We had a really great day! Time to rest was not, however, since we went from one place to another, so that the 40 € are also worthwhile. We wanted to experience spontaneously and uncomplicated a great city and have also done that :) Thanks!
Very good. Great guided tours.
I especially liked the tour through the harbor.
The booking does not work properly, if you book for 5 days and for 2 days - the first booking should be in the cache. The second booking was automatic for 5 days, although the preview indicated everything correctly.
To the pass: Over 6 EUR daily costs the day ticket, if you count up different entries, the passport pays off! What you must have seen: Dungeon (must be before 10am), Panoptikum, Hop-on, ride on the Alster, San Diego a little disappointing, Rickmer Rickmers must have seen, Memorial Museum of the St. Nikolai lookout tower, Harbor tour, black light district with children witty. CityPass works smoothly on site (simple, even mobile) And the savings can be enormous!
Harbour tour by Barkassen Meyer is indeed included in the City Pass, but you have seen only a fraction of the port. Here I would recommend the XXL harbour cruise. Warehouse district and guided tour of the Kiez is definitely recommended. Duration 2.5 hours each which are certainly not boring. Unfortunately, you can not use all the offers of the City Pass, as there is simply not enough time and one should perhaps consider the distances when planning (links train, bus, etc.).
All in all, the City Pass is a good thing. He is easily recognized everywhere and you must not look even after the right tariff driving maps in the chaos at the subway stations. We would book the pass again. However, a point was very customer unfriendly to us. One must then again to pick up before the city tour to the jetties and there looking for the resident office there ride tickets for the tour. Apparently stands somewhere - We have never found this note. But no matter. At the end made us but cost nearly an hour and if I have all the free input or entrance, why do I still need a separate ticket? I found and we were very annoyed absolutely unnecessary.
If you do a lot, the pass is definitely worth it. Unfortunately, the Miniatur Wunderland is not included but on the whole nothing is missing.
The Turbo Pass is a great deal, with lots of great locations. The price is also very good. However, what is missing is, inter alia, the Miniatur Wunderland. All in all: Definitely buy recommendation (from 2 days)!
With the City Pass you can go by public transport in all of Hamburg. We found this very convenient, since you do not always have to consider which ticket you need every time. But in the time we were in Hamburg, unfortunately the boat on the Alster did not drive. This was a shame since it was included in the price. Otherwise everything was great.
CityPass has fully paid off in Hamburg. The entries in the various listed sights were lovely. Especially great were the dungeon and the harbor cruise and the waxworks. The only thing I have to complain about: The blue line of the city tour is not very reliable. Partly drives this impossible or simply drives without waiting until the scheduled departure time at the stop over. I tried several times to ride, but not make it, for the reasons previously stated.
