    London Zoo is normally open every day of the year except for Christmas Day - Dec. 25th, when it is closed to the public.

    Last admission is one hour before advertised closing time. Some animal exhibits may close up to 30 minutes before closing time. 

    *Last entry/Closing time on selected dates may be affected by special events. Current plans are for 02/06, 09/06, 16/06, 23/06, 30/06, 07/07 and 14/07 to close at 5pm instead of 6pm. 

     

    Restrictions for your visit at the London Zoo

    • Visitors to the London Zoo should be aware of some restrictions and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. 
    • Supervision of children: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during their visit to the zoo. 
    • Accessibility: The zoo aims to be accessible to all visitors. However, some areas or exhibits might have limited access due to the nature of the terrain or the enclosures. It's advisable to check the zoo's website for up-to-date accessibility information. 
    • Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the zoo, with the exception of registered assistance dogs. These dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. 
    • Feeding animals: Feeding the animals is strictly prohibited, as it can be harmful to their health and disrupt their carefully managed diets. 
    • Photography: Photography is generally allowed for personal use, but flash photography is discouraged in some areas, as it may disturb the animals. For commercial photography or filming, visitors must obtain prior permission from the zoo.

Simply visit the Turbopass portal provided with your pass, select the desired date and time, and complete your ticket reservation to guarantee your spot on this unforgettable tour.

     

    How to get to the London Zoo by Public Transport

    The London Zoo is conveniently accessible via various modes of transportation. Here are some options for reaching the zoo: 

    • By Underground (Metro): The closest Underground station to the London Zoo is Camden Town (Northern Line), which is approximately a 15-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can use the Regent's Park station (Bakerloo Line), which is about a 20-minute walk from the zoo. Keep in mind that Camden Town station may have some restrictions on Sundays, so it's a good idea to check the Transport for London website for updates. 

    • By Bus: Several bus routes pass close to the zoo. Routes 274 and C2 have stops near the zoo's main entrance. You can also take routes 88, 205, or 214 to Camden Town station and walk to the zoo from there. 

    • By Taxi: Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are available throughout London, and you can easily book a ride to the zoo. Be sure to provide the driver with the correct address: ZSL London Zoo, Outer Circle, Regent's Park, London, NW1 4RY. 

    • By Foot: If you're in central London, walking to the London Zoo can be a pleasant experience, as it is located in the beautiful Regent's Park. Depending on your starting point, walking times will vary, but you can use online mapping services to plan your route.
