With the pass you have everything you need for a smooth visit to Rome. The only thing that is inconvenient is picking up the local transport ticket in Termini. You need a separate payment ticket there.
We bought the Rome City Pass for 4 days. The price of €235 seemed very high to me and the partly negative reviews made me unsure, but I decided to buy it anyway. I do not regret it! The attractions and vouchers we visited/used would have cost €289 without the pass. We (almost) exclusively only visited what we would have seen without a passport. A huge advantage that cannot be quantified with money is the waiting time saved. We were really thrilled to be led past the waiting queues and then allowed straight in. ...and the snakes were there in November too! We didn't have the problems described in the negative reviews!
We recently visited Rome and were a bit sceptical about whether we needed a pass like this or whether we should just do our own thing.

Everything went smoothly and we were able to skip the queues. The passport contains a lot, so unfortunately we missed something. However, it's only worth it if you want to see a lot of what's included in the pass. Printing it out via email was enough. Gladly again.
It was very convenient to have this all arranged ahead of time. We enjoyed all the sites, and had a great time! We booked the public transport with it and that was the best decision, it was not expensive and there are so many metro's and busses so never a long wait and everything is easy to reach!
Everything went well with our Turbopass. Shuttle from the airport, hop-on hop-off bus and public transportation were great. Instructions were detailed and easy to navigate. Our tickets to the Vatican Museum, Sistine chapel, Colosseum and Pantheon were booked for us as requested. I just wish there was a customer service phone number to call when I had some questions and needed clarification. Nonetheless, emaild were responded on a timely manner. Overall, my travel group and myself were very pleased and satisfied with Turbopass.
Was initially a bit doubtful and confused as to which pass will suit me the best. Got a 5 day pass for Rome and actually everything worked out well. I had no issues in going to any of the places, the instructions were really straightforward and there were barely much queueing for me. And actually wish we had more time to actually get the 7 days pass to explore all that this city has to offer. Highly recommend for those that is staying in Rome for several days, love arts and museums and want to explore a few other places.
a very sensible investment, we were at the Colosseum after 15 minutes! inside. Vatican, Petersom, Sistine Chapel, very impressive city tour, Pantheon - everywhere and at all times everything went smoothly and quickly. I will also use the Turbopass for other city trips. Highly Recommended! City tour using the hop on hop off bus was uncomplicated. And while others waited in long queues in front of, for example, the Pantheon or Castel Sant'Angelo, we were able to go straight in thanks to the Turbopass. Any time
Turbopass, ideal for spending a short stay in Rome with peace of mind: HOP on HOP off bus, public transport included, skip-the-line reservations for the Vatican and the Colosseum, various entries included, practical guide application (you may need to complete of a transport plan). The solution to not waste time organizing everything... Plus everything is dematerialized. One piece of advice: avoid cafes and restaurants close to legendary places.
Got the pass in time, it took awhile but that was because of waiting for the Sistine chapel and Coloseo entrance tickets.
A very big advantage is that you can skip the waiting lines with this pass. also very convienent for public transport, we used metro and bus very often.
Due to the overcrowded city, the turbo pass was more than necessary for quick entry. Unfortunately it was not possible to pre-book all of the sights as there were no suitable dates available. Communication regarding deadline security is rather weak. You don't know until shortly before departure whether the appointment will last. Otherwise everything worked without any problems.
With the Turbopass we saved a lot of time queuing etc. and were able to enter many attractions straight away. The process from ordering to receiving was smooth. I can only recommend.
The pass takes you to all attractions without long queues. We have used it several times, always uncomplicated.
Years ago my colleague and I had the City Pass for the first time in Rome and this time we did it again with friends. Everything worked out great again. It would be great if you had tickets for public transport or the Vatican straight away. But it also works well with pickup. If you've been in Rome for a few days, you might find it annoying. The quick entry is simply the best thing about it. If you consider that some people stand in the sun for hours at over 30 degrees, it's an absolute no-go. The Vatican visit this time wasn't particularly worth seeing because, unlike 10 years ago, up to 30,000 people seemed to be being dragged through every day and it was really just a push through. You couldn't see anything in peace, not to mention any Covid measures when body pushing against body was very uncomfortable. There definitely needs to be a restriction because nobody benefits from it. I had seen everything but my three companions were totally disappointed. Recently in London we unfortunately didn't order a city pass and for London that was a big mistake because the entrance fees and the queues were too long. So for us, depending on what you're doing and how long you're staying... we'll always get the City Pass again. Thanks for the easy ordering etc.
Except at Castel Sant'Angelo where we had to wait half an hour for the person who gave us our tickets to arrive, everything was quick and efficient. We tested the hop on hop of bus, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Vatican museums with the Sistine Chapel, the wax museum (which is far from equal to the Grévin museum), the Caracalla thermal baths, the Domitian stadium, the da Vinci museum experience. Don't hesitate to try the frosted lemons from the Limon'è stores! Avoid holiday taxi shuttles with high prices and which do not respect their commitments (we had to find a taxi at 3:30 in the morning because the shuttle did not come) plus the taxi trip was cheaper.
Since we had already bought a Turbopass and the booking of the tour was known. We have seen a lot during that time. The tour of the Vatican went smoothly.
Thanks to the turbopass, there are almost no waiting times. Were the very first in the Colosseum. The contact persons were also identified without any problems. We recommend. Perhaps a possibility can still be generated for St. Peter's Basilica in the future. Then it would be even more than perfect.
I can only recommend the Rome City Pass. From the airport transfer to the fast-lane tickets to the tickets for local transport and city tours, everything worked great. Everything was planned in advance and so we were able to enjoy our stay in Rome without any stress. Gladly again!
The Turbopass is very efficient. There is no need to queue anywhere, you always have priority entry and there is an enormous selection of museums and sights. You should make sure that you also visit the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum on the day you book the Colloseum, otherwise your tickets will expire. Be sure to register for the papal audience or Sunday mass via the Vatican website. Tickets are free but only available for a limited time. Complements great with the passport.
