I bought the 6 day pass. The instructions seemed to say that I could only go to some museums and attractions on the second 72 hour pass. Also it was hard to figure out what attractions were free and what attractions were reduced price.
Excellent! Got a 2 day pass in Rome. Bypassed a 3hr + line up for the Vatican. Enjoyed numerous museums included and the open top bus. Would recommend and would definitely use in other cities!
It is much easier, faster and you can experience everything more relaxed. I would buy again at any time! We stayed 5 days in Rome and had the 3 day pass. Also the related maps and papers would be helpful!
Everything was great but if I could wish for anything, the St. Peter's Basilica would be in 3 days turbopass. Then it would be perfect.
The pass made the 6 days to a totally relaxed travel experience. Especially the free travel with all means of transport, even to Ostia Antica, was a really big plus for us. All visits to historical cities and museums were covered for us, so the price paid off.
We bought the Rome City Pass for 3 days and are satisfied, you have so many possibilities and everything is quite relaxed. We were in the Colosseum and in the Vatican and could pass the city pass on the eternally long serpents and were so jew. After you see how long the lines can be heading into the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum you will be happy with your decision to get this pass. The free transportation in the ATAC system is also a must for tourists --you will be saving a lot as opposed to using cabs and Rome has a really good Metro and bus system. You should also take advantage of the hop-on/hop-off bus. Although it could have helped if they explained exactly where their partner bus line is located (a little distance from Termini Station, the blue buses). I was not able to take advantage of the discount on certain attractions so I don't know how those work. Overall, I will definitely recommend this pass for tourists who want to see as much as they can of Rome with as little waiting in line or getting caught in traffic as possible.
This was the first time that I booked turbo pass for rom and will book again. Just visit the museum without beating. Train and bus driving. This way you can save more time and money. So enjoy the turbopass!
